It’s been a few days since my last blog, a few things happened, but i was so busy to blog (specially that i have no laptop now, so the only chance to blog is from the office, which as you might notice, i would be SO busy, so i can get out of here as soon as possible)

A few good things happened too, i can’t deny that finally things at work began to move a little bit and i made some progress.

Regarding the disasters, nothing really major, except that my tooth was hurting me really bad, dentist said it would cost 800SR just to fix it….it’s much better now, the pain is gone, i hope it’ll stay that way until am back to Egypt.

Apart from that, nothing really serious, just minor stuff, like we go to eat, we all order grilled chicken sandwich, and i am the only one who gets his sandwich with all the salad and topping but without the chicken (it’s ok, i returned it back to the restaurant)

Maybe also that once, where i was waiting for someone in front of the mall, and that weird dude in his car came and tried to “give me a ride”…it was so disturbing

But hell!!! life is much better now (compared to what it was a few days ago, it’s very relative…… moving from -100 to -20 is a great improvement, but you’re still in the minus )

Regarding the passports, we still have to complete some more papers before we could get new passports, we’ll see how it goes, police here is so bad (worse than egypt, can you imagine that?) and the Egyptian embassy is as bad as..ehmm i dunno,, as an Egyptian embassy

After breaking two teeth while am in Riyadh (i don’t know what the heck is wrong with me, is the food?) i could no longer take the pain, i also couldn’t eat anything, specially that each broken tooth is on a different side of the mouth.

I had to go to a dentist, after a few calls to the office, they gave me directions to a dental clinic they recommended, so i took a cab to there.

The place i must say is nice and clean, the girl at the reception greeted me and took my personal information (do not be surprised, YES she was a girl, but she was wearing the moving tent, and convering every inch of her body and face)

I waited for a few minutes, during this few minutes i looke at the price list…and OH OH!!!! am in deep $hit…prices are the same as the prices in Egypt (remember my previous post about dental care pricing?) just multiplied by 2 or maybe 3 so i was scared to death i’d end up paying 1000 Riyal to kill the pain…it would have caused pain in my walled and i cant support that one.

Anyway, i got in, the doctor was Syrian, he was friendly, i told him what happened, he examined my teeth and told me that the temp filling i asked for will probably not last until i come back to Egypt.

But well, knowing the prices, i insisted on the temp filling
I am much better now…i haven’t eaten anything since then…but i *REALLY* *REALLY* hope that when i eat nothing else will break, or the temp filling will fall.

A good solution is to live on glucose w محاليل بقى والكلام دة

I am not in the ***** (insert a curse word here +ing) mood

I dont know why…

maybe because:

• I broke another tooth? (YES! ANOTHER F(*&!@# tooth, so its 2 now broken in this shitty country) i cant eat on both sides of the mouth now.
• Work sucks….not that it always does..but this time it sucks so bad…SUPER BAD
• I am SERIOUSLY bored
• Emotionally unstable

I don’t know why, seriously, all i can say is that YOU ARE LUCKY, not to be around me now….i could stab you in the face if did\said ANY thing wrong

I broke another tooth today while eating…. it’s a huge piece this time and it hurts like HELL

so, what’s new this time? it happens to me all the time.

Well, this time i am abroad for a week (at least)…so this means no doctor (nope, no other dentist is touching my tooth, see previous posts)

wish me luck, i hope i’ll live until i come back to Cairo

Now I can say that i am “مجنون رسمى” and that’s because I removed the tooth of wisdom yesterday (a.k.a ضرس العقل)

Yesterday, my tooth of wisdom was causing a hell of a pain, i rushed to the doctor, and he said it’s very inflammatory and needs to be removed.

He gave me my tooth to keep as a souvenir,
trust me, you don’t want to see the real picture,
IT IS scary

It wasn’t like the old arabic movies, actually it was very easy to remove, didn’t take longer than 3 mins. But it’s the pain after is what you should worry about.

I haven’t eaten anything that day, and the doctor said i could not eat or drink anything hot until the next day noon…i was actually starving.

Anyway, i woke up today, with my mouth and pillow flooded with blood, i wash up, take my antibiotic and here i am, still starving with my cheek as big as a tennis ball

Finally!  i went to the dentist again yesterday, and he had my tooth ready

I can now smile again, and charm all the women out there with my smile

Now i have the left half of my mouth done completely, yes the right part still have broken teeth, but HEY! That’s way much better it’s less than 10 tooth for perfection.

Now, this is a message for all girls out there (yes YOU!), ma7adesh fekom now 3ando 7egga…..بلاش تلكيك ….khalas am not scaring you with my smile anymore (a lot of smiley faces in this post, eh? )

Am toothless now, just came back from the doctor, not only he:

• Took off my tooth
• Left me suffer in pain
• Told i need to come 3 times to fix that tooth
• Left me with a hole in my mouth

But he also took 1300LE from me

too much…..

All he did today was 7′al3 senna….he removed one of my tooth, and told me use some medications for a few days and come back to start working on it.

So now, its official i am THE TOOTHLESS BASTARD!

There was a show on NileFM a few days ago, and they were asking the audience “What would you be doing if you’re not doing what you are doing now?” it’s a pretty interesting question, not like this one we used to get when were kids “nefsak tetla3 eh lama tekbar ya 7abeeby?” the typical answer when were kids was one of these AND THERE WAS NO EXCEPTIONS:

• Doctor (Doktoor)
• Engineer (mohandes)
• Policeman (zabet)

I thought to myself for a while, and i was like “WTF!!! i dont know, i dont like doing anything else than what am doing now in my life (IT and technology)” and i let it go.

Yesterday, one of my tooth broke (again, for those who don’t know, i have a terrible lack of Calcium, which makes my teeth fall and break and it’s turning my life into a hell)

So i had an appointment with the dentist(i really hate going to dentists, i think everyone does too, it’s very annoying when someone playing with your mouth and you can’t see a damn thing)

After diagnosis here are the results:

• 18 tooth need mantainance
• Each will cost 50LE (after medical insurance)
• Two will cost extra 250LE
• Two will cost extra 600LE
• Two will cost extra 900LE

That’s a total of: 4400LE (YES!!! am just 4400LE away from a good shiny smile)

Now, let’s calculate that this way, it took him 45mins to fix 5 of them yesterday, so let’s say on average it takes him 1 hour to fix 5 tooth.

 By dividing 4400\18, thats 244LE per tooth…. we multiply that by 5…thats 1220LE!!!!! PER HOUR

1220LE per hour… that’s  7320LE if he works ONLY 6 HOURS per day!!!

 Thats 36, 600LE if he works ONLY 5 DAYS per week!!!!!

That’s  161, 040LE if he works ONLY 22 DAYS per month!!!!

Please note that this is all calculated based on THE LOWEST ESTIMATE of working hours….also not calculating people who do not have a medical insurance (that would make it MUCH higher).

Still not also calculating the work in any hospital, university or medical centers….that’s the pure income of a clinic.

CAN YOU IMAGINE THAT!!!!! I WANT TO BE A DENTIST!!!! EARNING A MINIMUM OF 160,000LE PER MONTH!!!!!

If i could be anything else, I DEFINITELY  want to be a Dentist, that’s wil satisfy my 2 passions:

1. Earning HELL lot of money.
2. See people suffering
