I am currently in Riyah….

No fun there at all….so boring…internet access in unbelielvably slow (I guess its a common problem and thats not always the case)

But anyway, i don’t have much time to blog now…but i will, later on….wish me luck…and pray for me to finish soon to come back home

hi there,
i am planning to move into Riyadh from India . WOuld be great if any of you will educate me on the lifestyle – way of living in there , any kind of information would be much appreciated .will be helpful if anyone can tell me in detail about the COMPOUND Concept in there ,things like how big isa typical compound – Do we have hotels – shopping malls – how many people live in a compound , what are the good sub urbs in RIyadh …..things like that ….

charafantah, didn’t you hear about the cable damages? there have been cuts in 5 fiber undersea internet cables, 2 in egypt, one near dubai, one near qatar, I don’t exactly remember where the 5th was. there was a major internet slowdown almost everywhere from egypt to india, so I guess that would include Saudi Arabia as well

yes i know, i was in egypt when it happened,,,that why i said its not always the case, coz i guess saudi arabia is affected too
