I am Egyptian, my ancesters are the copts and Pharoahs and i am proud.
I am not proud to be classified as an Arab and i do not want my country to belong to that entity!

I am letting all this out now after a very long time suppressing it under my chest. On a side note, 3 algerians tried to rob me in Belgium. This is it Arab world, i don’t want you!

I can’t keep silent anymore, this is the 3rd time today this month that i receive this stupid email demanding to boycott Naguib Sawires and all his companies.

The mail is requesting the boycott due to what Sawires said recently on an interview regarding his TV Channel (OTV) and regarding the Iranian Hijab spreading in Egypt.

Am not going to defend Sawires, or say he’s a good guy or any other crap like this…because (1) i don’t know him personally! and (2) he’s not an angel from above.

Instead, i am going to state a few fast facts:

• Sawires did not take loans and ran away
• Sawires owns and runs the majority of successful business in Egypt
• Sawires is the only Egyptian who made it into Forbes billionaires list (#62, not including his brothers)
• Sawires feed hundreds of thousands of families working in his projects
• Sawires has one of the biggest Egyptian social foundations(مؤسسة خيرية…مش متأكد من الاسم بالإنجليزى)
• Every human has the right of the Freedom of Speech, as far as i know, and last time i checked, Sawires was a human.
• Every human also have the right to think the way he sees best, as long as he is not offending anyone.
• If you don’t like his TV channel, DO NOT F*** WATCH IT!!!! there are thousands of other channels to see
• We are not children to allow any channel to censor our media, this is the freedom of speech, if you don’t like it, don’t watch VERY SIMPLE!!! that’s why they warn you before the movie, so you can switch the channel, so children and human with the brain of a sheep can switch the channel.
• He is actually right about the spreading of “القنوات الإسلامنجية.…إللى بتفتى فى الدين….و شغالة فى فتاوى من نوع إرضاع الكبير و تفسير الأحلام والجهل دة كله”
• Do you remember how civilized Cairo was in the early 1900’s?until a few years after the revolution, and the MB (Muslim’s Brotherhood) started working on their agenda and the wahabi culture started to spread. (i am a Muslim myself, but i do not approve many things going around these days, but that doesn’t mean in ANY WAY that am a bad Muslim or that am against Hijab, Islam or anything, am just against the way people translate Islam and use it for their own agenda)
• Sawires have business outside Egypt(Italy, Greece, Algeria and more), and i can assure you (i have seen numbers personally) he is gaining more than 4-5 times in any of his projects abroad than the same project in Egypt, but he is still working in Egypt
• If it wasn’t for Sawires’s companies, we could have been still behind 10 years late in most technologies, construction and communication…and the majority of you would still be sitting 3al 2ahwa looking for a job. (and probably smoking a job kaman)
• No one forced you to use his products\projects\companies if you don’t want to use just go ahead and don’t.
• The man never interfered with politics, or had any political views(though he could and he can), and he didn’t try to get into the parliament or gain any political power to use it for his business (not like Ahmed Ezz or Rami Lakkah -Raymond Lakkah- and many others)

Just a question in mind, is all this fuss because the guy is a Coptic Christian?Or maybe am wrong and it’s the conspiracy theory again

Last note, i have a lot of respect for this man, he has done a lot of good things to the Egyptian economy, the Egyptian people and to our image abroad.
So please, give the man what he deserves, or just shut the hell up.
